This is a nice-looking, well made appliance that is very easy to use. The unit is 18 inches high and about 5 inches wide, with a smart cubby-handle. The base of the unit has a swivel so that you can rotate the unit about 25 degrees in each direction. The Alen T100 may be a bit large to be a permanent feature on a desk, but it’s so light and portable that you can move it around as much as you like.

Buyers are pleasantly surprised and frequently comment about how quiet the unit runs, especially on its lowest fan setting. Even on medium speed it is no louder than a small desk fan.

What makes this model unique is that it’s small and portable while still being very effective in cleaning the air. In fact, it does a much better job of purifying the air than so-called “bargain” air purifiers. If you have a small space that needs freshening or you want to be able to easily transport the unit, this is a good choice for you.
